Transfer of Shares from Restricted Line (NUSR) to Unrestricted Line (NUS) on AIM

 Number 2007--21

Vancouver B.C., June 21, 2007 -- Nautilus Minerals Inc. (TSXV: NUS, AIM:NUS & NUSR) (the "Company" or "Nautilus") announces the expiry of the trading restrictions on the Company's shares issued pursuant to its February 20, 2007 North American private placing that raised US$75 million, allowing the shares to be freely tradeable under the laws of both the United Kingdom and Canada.

The Company has made an application to the London Stock Exchange for the 20,344,850 shares currently trading on the AIM NUSR line (comprising all the shares issued in the North American private placing) to be transferred from the Company's restricted line under AIM (NUSR) to the Company's unrestricted line (NUS). The transfer is expected to become effective on June 26, 2007.

Following the transfer, all of the Company's issued share capital of 130,166,284 shares will be freely tradeable on both AIM and the TSX Venture Exchange, subject to compliance with the requirements of any applicable US securities laws.
